Invitation to Bid
March 2010

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis extends this Invitation to Bid on certain items or services for 2010. Our projects include Trinity Park and Las Cruces as well as other locations around Memphis. Habitat will be utilizing NSP funds, and other various sources, both private and public funding for some of these projects and will abide by all federal state and local procurement guidelines set forth. 

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian “Affordable Housing” ministry established to provide families in need with a simple, decent and affordable place to live. Our families are low income/first-time homeowners that currently live in substandard conditions.  Families selected for the Habitat program are provided homeownership and financial responsibility training, and they participate in the construction of their homes. Habitat carries an interest-free mortgage on the home which the family pays back over the term of the loan.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis has built 331 homes since 1983. Through generous sponsorships and donations, the tireless efforts of countless volunteers, and thoughtful consideration and support of our sub-contractors and suppliers, we can continue to help those in need to realize the American dream of “homeownership.”

To be considered, your bid must include the following completed documents that must be submitted two ways. First, email your bid sheets to bids@memphishabitat.com. Then you should mail your completed and signed copies of all documents to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis ATTN: Harold Walker 169 Scott Street Memphis, TN 38112. The documents that should be emailed and mailed are as follows:

1. Company Profile Form (pdf)
2. Comprehensive Subcontractor Agreement (pdf)
3. Copy of your General Liability Insurance and Workers Comp. Insurance
4. Bid Sheet(s) - please click here for a list of items and services up for bid.
