Habitat Hero

Habitat Hero was created in July 2008 as a way for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis to show its deep appreciation to its loyal supporters and volunteers. The goal of the program is to recognize those who have dedicated their time and effort to Habitat’s mission. Habitat Hero nominations are clearly submitted by the Habitat staff members and the volunteer committee chairperson.

To be eligible to win Habitat Hero:

• Person must volunteer in the prior month
• Person must exemplify the values of Habitat and promote them in his/her daily life
• Person must have made a recent extraordinary contribution and/or has made a significant, lasting impact on Habitat over a period of time
