Got skills? It doesn’t matter! For nearly 25 years, Memphis Habitat has “employed” largely unskilled volunteers in its efforts to eliminate substandard housing. There’s no feeling like showing up one morning to an empty slab and leaving that afternoon with an actual house (roof and all) sitting on that very same site.

Generally, Memphis Habitat builds a round of homes in both the fall (starting mid-September) and the spring (starting mid-March).
