What is DreamBuilders?

DreamBuilders is the new Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis monthly giving club that provides a convenient way for our supporters to make regular, monthly gifts through automated credit card or checking account debits. A complete annual statement will be provided for tax purposes.

How does my DreamBuilders donation make a difference?Howdoes my D

While every gift makes a difference, DreamBuilders donations will help in a special way. When Memphis Habitat has a set amount coming in every month from dedicated DreamBuilders, we can plan home building well in advance. This makes it possible for us to say “YES” to more deserving families who dream of a better life that begins with a safe, decent, affordable home. Take a look at the giving level chart below to see how your donation will make a difference.

$5 a month

Hammers & Nails—The basic tools used to build a family’s dream home.

$10 a month

Front Door—Helps families open the door to a new life.

$25 a month

Insulation—Comfort and cost savings. Helps a family keep warm air in during
the winter and out during the summer.

$50 a month

Kitchen Cabinets—Provides efficient kitchen storage space for secret ingredients
to favorite family recipes.

$75 a month

Homeowner Training & Support—Prepares families to become successful first-time homeowners by teaching them to develop and manage budgets and how to maintain their homes.

$100 a month

Lawn—Use your green to give green. A healthy lawn encourages feelings of serenity, thoughtfulness and happiness.

$250 a month

Roof—Energy efficient roofing materials protect families from the rain, sun and high utility bills.

$500 or more a month

Child’s Bedroom—Makes a child’s sweet dreams of having their very own room come true.

What are the benefits of becoming a DreamBuilder?

• Knowing your gift will help make the dream of homeownership a reality for a deserving family.
• Monthly gifts help cut postage, paper, administrative and overhead costs—thereby increasing the impact of your donation.
• Regular updates on the impact of your donations and invitations to special Habitat events.
• Recognition in Memphis Habitat publications—unless you chose to donate anonymously.
• All DreamBuilders will receive a Habitat lapel pin.
• Inaugural members will receive special recognition by having their names engraved on select items in Trinity Park; Memphis Habitat’s first planned community. Of course, you may choose to designate your gift in honor or memory of a loved one. The deadline to become an inaugural member is December 31, 2010.
