Annual Special Events

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis has numerous special events that take place throughout the year. Whether you're interested in attending one of our events or getting involved as a volunteer, we have plenty of ways you can help Habitat make a difference in the lives of families in need.

Home Team Huddle
Hosts sign up to “party with a purpose” for Habitat for Humanity on Super Sunday. They receive a party pack which helps them plan and promote their party, and then they ask their guests to give donations to Habitat during halftime. All hosts and guests are entered to win the grand prize of a trip for two to an NFL game, complete with airfare and hotel accommodations.

Tool Box Bash
Habitat’s largest and most festive fundraiser of the year is centered around Mardi Gras. Guests enjoy wine tastings and delicious food, while they hear live music and bid on a vast assortment of auction items. The event also boasts a Mardi Gras court, a live auction, event photos, fun giveaways and much more. The Tool Box Bash typically takes place the second weekend of November.

HABITOURS
HABITOURS are two-hour guided bus tours of neighborhoods in which Memphis Habitat has had a significant impact, including Trinity Park, our first planned development that will include 38 homes and a community resource center. You will see first-hand the great work we are doing in our community and learn how Memphis Habitat and our partners are helping change individual lives and entire neighborhoods.

Partnership Education Event
Community partnerships play a key role in Habitat for Humanity’s work here in Memphis. At one of our Partnership Education Events, you’ll learn more about Habitat, hear from current partners, tour one of our homes and learn how your group can become one of our newest partners.

Home for the Holidays Art and Elegant Craft Show
Join us for an afternoon of holiday shopping – Memphis Artisan Style! Featuring handmade art, food, jewelry, soap and much, much more. The Home for the Holidays Craft Show usually takes place in early December.

Coffee and Conversation
Enjoy a cup of coffee while learning more about Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis’ mission and how you can become more involved in ending poverty housing in Memphis.
