Putting Faith Into Action
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis invites your church, synagogue or mosque to put faith into action by partnering with us to build homes with people in need of a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity International founder Millard Fuller calls this concept "the theology of the hammer.” The theology of the hammer is about acknowledging our differences, whether they be political, religious, philosophical, theological or cultural, while finding common ground in the belief that we are called by God to care for the poor.

Your congregation can support Habitat at any time in many different ways:
- Pray for the success of Habitat’s mission to eliminate poverty housing throughout the world.
- Provide a special offering to Habitat for Humanity.
- Work together as a congregation by sponsoring a Habitat house.

Thank you to all of the faith-based organizations that support Habitat's building efforts!
