Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis CEO Dwayne Spencer has led our organization for 15 years and thinks of Habitat's vision daily. It's a vision he believes in, and Habitat's work has an impact that he understands well. During Habitat for Humanity's Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in August, Dwayne first shared his personal story and why he feels so passionate about Habitat's work with The Commercial Appeal's Geoff Calkins. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt took notice of that story, and on Sept. 12, featured Dwayne in a segment called "Inspiring America." Watch it below:
