Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis has opportunities for Tennessee-licensed contractors to submit bids or RFQs (Request for Qualifications) for work through two of our programs: New Home Construction projects around Memphis and Shelby County, and Aging in Place/home repair projects in Shelby and Fayette Counties. Memphis Habitat accepts bids for new construction and RFQs for our Aging in Place/home repair Program on an ongoing basis. Habitat will be utilizing both private and public funding – which may include Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency TIF Funds, New Markets Tax Credits, TN Housing Development Agency, HUD Older Adult Modification Grant, TN Dept of Health/Health Disparities Grant, State of TN ARPA grant, Shelby County ARPA grant, City of Memphis CDBG and ARPA grants, the Federal Home Loan of Cincinnati, Bank of Bartlett and other funding sources – for some of these projects and will abide by all federal, state and local procurement guidelines set forth.

On Friday, May 13, 2022, Memphis Habitat hosted a hybrid meeting (in person & on Zoom) for general contractors, subcontractors, home repair companies and home inspectors who are interested in working with Memphis Habitat on (1) new home construction and/or (2) critical home repairs, accessibility improvements, mobility modifications and weatherization enhancements through our Aging In Place (AIP) program.
