Throughout August 2021, we're celebrating 20 years of Dwayne Spencer leading Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis as our president & CEO. We’re so thankful for his fearless and sometimes audacious leadership.
As a member of the Habitat Family, you understand how important it is to have a decent, affordable place to live, just like Dwayne. He knows firsthand how important our work together is and you can revist past news stories and videos below where Dwayne has spoken to the importance of our work, changing to meet the needs of our community, and speaking to his own personal connection to our work.
During Dwayne’s time here, hundreds of individuals and families have built or repaired places to call home in Fayette and Shelby County because of supporters like you - the Memphis Habitat family.

To celebrate his anniversary, Dwayne is raising $20,000 to help more families build or improve places to call home in our community. There are individuals and families who are waiting right now to build and purchase affordable homes through Memphis Habitat this fall—and we’re counting on your support to make that happen.
