Hello friends,
I wanted to take a moment to address an important issue that recently came up. During our April 14th call-in screening period for the Aging In Place program, a massive amount of people called in to submit their information, with some callers encountering issues getting through the phone lines. Despite those challenges, we actually took 275 messages from folks submiting their information to the program. Although we met our goal, I wanted to make sure you know that we hear you.
We are currently looking into ways to upgrade our phone system and create a smoother, easier call-in process for our callers. Despite the massive need for these services and the challenges in meeting that need, we want to do what we can to ensure a smooth, easy and equitable experience in helping older homeowners continue to live in their own homes longer.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this process better, to serve more and do more good in our community.
In your service,
Dwayne Spencer President & CEO Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis
