Position Purpose
We are looking for a talented, passionate, and creative individual to join our Memphis ReStore team. The ReStore Marketing Specialist is responsible for researching and creating informed campaigns that appeal to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis ReStore’s target audiences. In addition to creating content, the ReStore Marketing Specialist will monitor all social media content, track performance and keep up with technologies used in social media. The ReStore Marketing Specialist will ensure maximum consumer engagement across all ReStore communication platforms and attract other influencers to raise the visibility of the shared ReStore and Habitat mission.

 

Essential Functions of Position

  • Social Media Marketing:
    • Manage and grow all ReStore social communities to increase awareness and opportunities for connection
    • Consistently create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns ReStore sales goals, volunteer activities and special events.
    • Respond to messages and engage with comments and mentions
    • Oversee the creation and management of ad campaigns
  • Loyalty Program and Email Marketing:
    • Manage ReStore shopper “Loyalty Program” through ReStore POS.
    • Produce and manage sales communication through the Shopkeep marketing portal and email database to increase Restore foot traffic and engagement
    • Assist in creating, implementing, and managing email marketing strategies such as a ReStore newsletter, segmentation, A/B testing and re-engagement campaigns
    • Work closely with our development team to maintain a clean and optimized email database
  • Content Creation:
    • Work collaboratively with ReStore Senior Leadership and Graphic Designer to create in-store signage and announcements
    • Coordinate content needs and suggestions across team
    • Draft communications across digital channels such as blogs, posts, forms and emails
  • Data Analysis:
    • Use tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Meta for Business to pull an analyze KPI metrics for all digital marketing efforts.
    • Build reports and offer recommendations for improvements. 
  • Merchandising and In-Store Branding:
    • Lead staging efforts for optimal audience response from in-store shoppers and social media interactions
    • Ensure sales templates and in-store announcements are in line with HFHGM branding guidelines
  • Collaboration:
    • Be an active member of the ReStore team.
    • Regularly report out and solicit feedback from team on current and future work
    • Support the Volunteer Engagement team by leading volunteers in store preparation and group activities
    • Attend fundraising and networking events to cultivate donors, volunteers, etc.
    • Work closely with other teams to coordinate online marketing efforts that will support their goals.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum one year’s experience in social media and/or digital marketing, or a related field required; 2 years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva a plus.
  • Understand SEO and web traffic data.
  • Familiarity with the basics of photography and video.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

This job operates in a retail and warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh up to 50 pounds with help. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position. A standard work week is Tuesday through Saturday 9am-5pm. Monday and evening work may be required as job duties demand. This position has no supervisory responsibilities but will direct volunteers when assigned.
