Construction Opportunities for Groups

Build site opportunities offer a unique team-building activity. They are the most popular of our volunteer opportunities, but also the hardest to come by. Our house-building partners - the businesses, churches and other organizations that fund our house-building program - receive the first opportunity to build. Whenever extra volunteers are needed, those slots are opened up to individuals and small groups. In 2018 we will begin building in April. We notify interested groups of opportunities 60 days out from the available opportunity and individuals 30 days out from the available opportunity.

To ensure your team is able to participate, please consider becoming a Habitat Build Sponsor. House Sponsorships range from $3,000 to $70,000, and can be customized to your specific needs. For more information, please contact Rachel Koch, Volunteer and Events, at

ReStore Opportunities for Groups

The Memphis ReStore can accommodate groups of up to 25 volunteers per shift.  We recommend that you schedule your group at least a month in advance to ensure that your preferred date is available. ReStore volunteers must be 14 or older, and an adult must accompany groups of 5 or more youths between the ages of 14 and 17.

Non-Construction Opportunities for Groups

Special projects pop up throughout the year that provide non-construction volunteer opportunities for groups with various skill sets.  Examples include clean-up days, ReStore donation drives or office projects.
