Earlier this year, Memphis Habitat hosted a hybrid procurement meeting for general contractors, subcontractors, home repair companies, and home inspectors interested in working on new home construction projects in 2025. All applications must be submitted via email with all required documents. Incomplete packets of information will not be considered.

Required Documents for ALL Contractor Bids

  1. Company Profile Form
  2. Habitat for Humanity Comprehensive Subcontractor Agreement
  3. Copy of your General Liability Insurance and Workers' Comp. Insurance
  4. Signed 2025 W-9
  5. Copy of active TN Business License and TN contractor license or trade license as required by code
  6. A brief statement of your experience and qualifications with home repairs
  7. Bid sheet, when required. See list of items for bid for more information.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis will utilize both private and public funding sources which may include but are not limited to the following — Memphis and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds; New Markets Tax Credits; Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) funding; U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Older Adult Modification Grant; a grant contract funded with the State of Tennessee; Tennessee Department of Health: the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati; and Bank of Bartlett.

The funding for these projects were also funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) SLFRF Program through a contract administered by the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) administered by the City of Memphis Division of Housing and Community Development, making Memphis a world-class city by facilitating and delivering resources and services that improve the quality of life for every neighbor and neighborhood.

Habitat will abide by all federal, state, and local procurement guidelines set forth. Applicable city, state, and federal regulations such as but not limited to Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246, may be required. Awardees of bids must agree to comply with all applicable grant requirements. Memphis Habitat accepts bids on an ongoing basis.
