Your Habitat. Your Community.
As a supporter of Habitat for Humanity, you’re already part of a movement helping families and communities build stronger futures. And that work is happening closer to home than you may realize.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis is your local Habitat. Since 1983, we’ve worked alongside people across Memphis and Shelby County to create opportunities for affordable homeownership, help older homeowners remain safely in their homes, and strengthen the neighborhoods we all call home.
We’d love to introduce you to our work—and invite you to be part of what comes next.
Come meet your local Habitat.
The best way to get to know Memphis Habitat is to experience our work for yourself! Join us at one of these upcoming events:

What does Habitat look like here at home?
Across Memphis, our work takes many forms, all centered on helping people and neighborhoods thrive.
Through affordable homeownership, families have the opportunity to purchase a quality home with an affordable mortgage and build stability for the future.
Our Aging In Place program provides critical home repairs and modifications that help older homeowners live safely and independently in the homes and neighborhoods they love.
Volunteers, donors, businesses, community partners and homeowners all have a role in building a stronger Memphis.
Building homes is only part of the solution. We also advocate for policies that address barriers to homeownership, support critical home repair and help strengthen neighborhoods throughout Memphis.
When you support Memphis Habitat, you help make our work possible right here in Greater Memphis, creating opportunities for families and strengthening neighborhoods across our community.
We're glad you're here.
You’ve already helped advance Habitat's mission. We hope this is the beginning of an even closer connection to the work happening right here in your community.
Welcome to Memphis Habitat.
Building Memphis, together.
